6 Months Old

Brightyn turned 6 Months old on August 12th 2012

AT 6 MONTHS OLD:

• She can sit without help (: 
• Can roll over from front to back, back to front... but in only one direction.. once she reaches a wall she gets frustrated because she can't come back the other way. 
• Is SUCH a smiley happy baby.. all the time. Only cries when she is hungry or is tired. 
• Loves to suck on her toes. 
• Likes to scream and make high pitch squeals
• Does not like to sit still for long. Needs to be moving and rolling and jumping. 
• Loves her doorway jumper. 
• Could be outside forever. Loves being in the stroller and on the grass. 
• Can't get enough of "The Porsche Kitty" squeals and babbles every time she sees the kitty. 

5 Months Old

We're gonna have to do a bit of a catch up here!! 

She turned 5 months old on July 12th. We were out in North Dakota for this!! 

At 5 Months Old, Brightyn:

• Was starting to try and sit up on her own 
• Is rolling over!! from belly to back only. 
• LOVES to stand (while holding our hands of course)
• Found her feet!! 
• Still loves baby food... unsure about avocados and carrots.. but loves squash and sweet potatoes and all fruits (: 
• Really good at holding herself up while on her belly
• Quite the talker!!! babbles all the time. 
• Still sleeping through the night.. even while in a hotel room all summer. 
• Loves to swim and take baths. 
• Was so happy that she didn't need to get any shots this month! 
• In 6-9 month clothes. 
• 
  

She happened to be in a pretty grumpy mood this day so I didn't get many smiles out of her... but here are some of the pics of her on this day (:
