A LOT has happened since I last posted!! I am going to attempt to catch everyone up with whats going on in our incredible amazing lives.
I am going to update everything with a few pics and then do another post with a lot of pictures. (:
In April, Sterling was working in North Dakota doing his pre-season sales trips and I was home taking care of our beautiful Brightyn. That was the month that we got our incredible news!!
The First Presidency of the church contacted our bishop and stake president and told them that we were able to be sealed together for time and all eternity as an eternal family in the temple.
Sterling called me on the phone late at night and asked me if I would marry him. I was so tired and said "Ok baby. Love you... Goodnight" and he said "No, Really.. will you marry me?" lol... so I said.. "Sterling.. I'm really tired and I don't get this joke so just tell me what you mean because I don't understand your humor right now." Then he told me the news and I started crying. Then... I wasn't tired at all anymore... I was ecstatic.
The next morning, I called the temple, set our dates, and Sterling bought his plane ticket home. Within 2 weeks, Sterling was headed home for our special weekend.
We were so grateful to all of our family for being so flexible with us and making travel arrangements to be there for that weekend.
On Friday, May 4th I got my endowments out in the Draper temple and so much of our family was able to be there.. even from Idaho and California.
[[I was lucky to have one of my best friends Amber come down from Idaho to watch Brightyn during all of the craziness. We are SO blessed to have such a good baby. She didn't cry much for her, even though we were away inside the temple for almost 4 hours!!]]
The next morning on Saturday.. We were prepared for a VERY busy day!! We had to be at the Salt Lake Temple by 7:30am. So my friend Erica came to my house at 5am at (39 1/2 weeks pregnant!) and did my hair for me. (THANKS SO MUCH ERICA!)
Between 6:45am and 7am, I had to get myself and Brightyn ready and pack everything for the entire day into our bags and get out the door to the temple. We got there and went to drop her off into the youth care center of the temple.. I had to feed her before we got everything going and left her.
Brightyn was beautiful in her white dress that Grandma bought for her... I couldn't hold back the tears once I saw her.. she was brought into the Sealing room with us and we were sealed together for all of forever and ever and EVER. There weren't many dry eyes in the room during those special moments.
After the sealing we went outside the temple (It was super cold!! Thanks to everyone who waited for me to feed B!) We had about an hours worth of pictures (Brightyn was SO good. Luckily we had the white blanket that Grandma Labrum crocheted for her to keep her warm). After the pictures we rushed back to Draper to my moms house.
We had a Cinco De Mayo Fiesta at my moms house in Draper with probably close to 60 people there. There, she was blessed by her daddy. He gave her a beautiful blessing and many of the priesthood holders in our family were able to participate.. there almost wasn't enough room for everyone in the circle!! So happy to have so much family that could be a part of this with us.
Later that evening, Brightyn was babysat by my mom so that Sterling could take me on a special date.
We went and got some sushi and then headed back to be with our little girl. (I am pretty sure I have worse separation anxiety than she does).
Sunday morning I woke up with signs of a kidney infection... (i've had 3 before and I am quite aware of the early signs!) we went to the urgent care and then decided to try to flush it out with a lot of water, cranberry juice and cranberry pills before taking the antibiotics. Luckily the pain subsided by the next morning.
In that one day (on Sunday) we packed everything up for the Summer and got the car ready for our summer adventure!! Monday morning, my siblings and mom came over to help us clean things up and get ready to go. After a lonnnnnng goodbye (mostly to Brightyn) We made our way up north to North Dakota
She did so well on the drive surprisingly.. we made it in about 15 hours. (:
She was happy almost the whole time (:
Since we will be moving to about 3-4 different cities in ND during this summer, we are..... wait for it...
living in a hotel! wooooo! haha
walking the halls of the super 8 motel trying to get her to sleep.
Our new holiday inn has a water slide!
her cute little swimsuit
we get the 5th floor!
The first 2 weeks we were in a realllllly run down super 8 motel. I didn't go anywhere without my handy dandy TASER.
So you may be thinking... how does she eat?? well. we have a mini fridge and a microwave. I brought out my crock pot and I bought an electric skillet. Its really hard to make meals when you only have one little skillet that you have to wash between every thing you cook in a meal. We're learning!!
There are 2 other wives out here for now. and my little god-son Kaden!! Kaden and Brightyn are betrothed to eachother by the way.
He is so kind to her (except when he throws his bottle at her face). He shares his paci and likes to touch her face, hands and lips ;)
We love to take the kiddos on walks to the park and basically anywhere to get out of the hotel room.
I'm keeping busy by taking care of our cute little munchkin!! I for sure love her and love seeing her get bigger every day! She is learning so much.

So cute! Love it! Can't believe all her clothes! They are all adorable! And that's cool Sterling was able to bless her right after you guys got sealed. So happy for you! Except for the living out of the hotel part..that could get kinda tough! PS i think we have the same taser. Love the security that thing brings!
