Hawaii Pictures!!

So we got to take a trip to Hawaii!!! Sterling's work took us to the island of Kauai for a week, and it was awesome timing, right before the baby comes.. taking a little bit of a vacation and some relaxation (:

This was the view from our balcony. (: we could see the cruise ships coming into the bay, and see the pool (: The pool at our resort is the largest stand alone pool in all of Hawaii.. and under those octagon shaped things are hot tubs that you swim up to.

There was a Koi pond filled with TON of fish (:

We bought our own snorkel gear and tried it out in our bay area... not so good for snorkeling. But it was fun (:

Right by our hotel, there was a little burger shack and they had the BEST snow cones in the ENTIRE world!! it literally tasted like flavored snow. They would fill the entire bottom part with the shaved ice, then they would put a scoop of ice cream in it, then they would cover the rest of it with the shaved ice. We got like 4 of them.

bump (:

Sterling took one morning and went golfing at an amazing golf course with Brandon, Brooke and Hyrum

We went to another snorkle area at the Napali coast. SO cool!!

Even swam with some HUGE sea turtles

 it was gorgeous there!

We went on a kayaking adventure 6 miles up a river then hiked to "Secret Falls"

With our friends Janette and Jon

At one part of the hike we had to cross a strong river and hold on to a rope because it was so strong!

Sterling found a frog (;

It was so muddy!

LOVED the waterfall.. freezing water though!

We went up to a swimming hole and there was a rope swing and a cliff to jump off of. So of course Sterling had to take advantage of it, and backflip off the cliff and go off the rope swing.

We did a helicopter of the island! SO much fun.

Love my handsome boy

Pretty rainbow

I was eyeing the motion sickness bag.. I started getting super hot and was thinking of all worse case scenarios...  I got the air vent pointed right at me and felt better. But after I guess that everyone was feeling a little queasy.

We went to Poipu beach and there was a seal just chillin there!

We had Janette take some pictures for us on the beach (: They all turned out AWESOME (:

FAVORITE PICTURE!!!

Sterling's favorite (:

We had such a great time.. and now we're looking forward to our next main event in life.. Little girl.
(oh and christmas. ;) )
Time is FLYING! I'm 30 weeks now and in the home stretch!

date-night

Since we've been really busy lately, we haven't really gone out together or gone on a date just the two of us. So Sterling surprised me by planning a fun night for us together. (:
He first took me up to the Zoo Lights at the Hogle Zoo. I had never even heard of it before, and had no idea what it was... but we had so much fun!! There were so many lights decorated on basically every tree, and we could walk through the whole zoo and look at all the animals while drinking hot chocolate to keep warm (:

There was a huge tiger that was pacing back and forth right by the fence and he was growling and roaring loud.. I don't think he liked all the cameras flashing.. but I had to get a picture (:
 Poor kitty.

After the zoo we went and drove around some neighborhoods looking at Christmas lights and then he took me to Olive Garden for dinner and we got to use a gift certificate that my dad got us. Thanks Dad!!

After that we went home and decorated a gingerbread house!! We figured it was an ok time to be done with cursing all the Christmas stuff everywhere, now that we're officially in December.

Sterling was in charge of the tree and putting it together..

And I was in charge of decorating the house.

And I think that they turned out super super cute.

Sterling decorated a gingerbread person of me and I did one of him.. can you guess who's is who's?? He even gave me a frosting baby in my gingerbread belly (:

We also realized that we don't have ANY pictures together showing my belly.. so we attempted a couple shots with the timer on the camera. ;)

Thats all for now! We're off to Hawaii on Friday, so I'll post after that and make all you people that were stuck in the cold reallllll jealous ;)

our first home

So a lot a lot a lot has happened in the last few weeks, but I haven't posted anything for a couple reasons.
1: because we've been so busy and I haven't even had a second to breathe.
2: because we haven't had wifi installed until now. So that has put a damper on things getting into motion...
so .. the blog has been on hold.
You would have thought that I would have gotten a few more pictures than I did with all thats going on.. but I haven't.
Biggest announcement...
we closed on our house and moved in the next day!!! Well.. Sterling and his helping helpers moved in while I was working. (not that anyone would let me do anything anyways.. I was strictly forbidden to lift anything)
We had most of our furniture delivered from RC willey because we really didn't have anything as far as a couch, dinner table, and bed goes. We had a bed.. but that one went to the spare bedroom. I'll get more pics of the inside of the house once I think it is sufficiently decorated. ;)
It is on traverse mountain sort of behind Cabella's in Lehi. It is 2 floors, 3 bedrooms/ 3 bathrooms upstairs and 2 bedroom 1 bath unfinished downstairs. Holy crap, right?? I feel so lucky to be able to call this our first house.

We have such a good neighborhood. We are 4 houses down from an elementary school, and there isn't anyone on our street that has less than 3 kids!! Good thing we're already in motion for that one!!

Sterling has been so awesome and has been so amazing working so hard to get everything going for us. If it weren't for him, we'd still be living out of boxes a week and a half later.. But he has been working very very hard getting things out of boxes and fixing the things that needed fixing while i've been at work. He has also learned that he loves building and fixing things.. He built me a shoe rack in our closet, shelves in our bathroom, and storage shelves in our basement. He even got on getting our water filter working, caulked all our bathroom, ordered glass for our coffee table, side table, and dinner table, fixed the hosing on our washer and dryer and so so much more.
I'm so grateful fo him and how hard he works for us and how hard he works simply to make me happy. It doesn't take a lot to make me happy.. but he has definitely gone above and beyond

Porsche has adjusted very very well. I think she loves having our own place again too.. a lot more quiet without kids chasing her everywhere. haha
She loves our new couches and sleeps in the same spot all the time. We haven't let her outside yet... but we're working towards that. She has had her eye on the local grey handsome boy cat that prowls in our backyard. So... I think she is highly anticipating their first meeting.

Sterling also loves our new couches.. they are so comfy!! This picture was after he had built a ton of things and he was just plain pooped.

We're loving giving porsche a ton of attention before baby comes.. because we are very much expecting her to hate us once baby girl gets all the attention in a few short months.

She follows me everywhere lately. I wake up before Sterling and go and eat breakfast every morning, and she will follow me in there, jump onto my lap and lay there till i'm done eating.

I bought this for our bedroom.. I just need to find a place to put it!! I love it..  Makes me smile every time I see it. (:

And here is our home (:
So beautiful (:
I'm so lucky.
